Introduction:
As the popularity of cotton based clothing has been increasing worldwide, M/s. Saveena Enterprises Private Limited (SEPL) have set up a vertically integrated plant to manufacture Cotton Knitted Greige, Dyed & Merecrised Fabric and Knitted Garments, both for the domestic and international market.

Company: SEPL is a private limited company, which was incorporated in June 1992 and commercial production commenced in January 1994 with circular knitting. The promoters set up another company - Saveena Textiles Pvt Ltd which has latest garment manufacturing and finishing equipment for knitwear for which the commercial production commenced in December 1997. Now a state of the art fabric mercerising, dyeing and finishing unit has been commissioned from October 2001.

Computer Embroidery(Tajima, Japan), Perc  Dry Cleaning(Reakstar,Italy),
and Transfer Printing for

30,000 garment per month.
We have further expanded
and set up most Modern Mercerizing, Dyeing and
Finishing facility with a
capacity of over 4500 kg
per day.

Promoters: The company has been promoted by Mr. Saurabh Vaish, who is an entrepreneur with adequate work experience and qualification. He is an MBA from Australia with a major in International Business. During his course he did a comprehensive research project on Textile Exports from India. The company is managed by a team of professional managers and technical staff.

Location: The project has been set up at Hosiery Complex, NOIDA, U.P. 6000 sq mt land has already been acquired and necessary building constructed. Hosiery Complex is located opposite the Export Processing Zone and is only 20 minutes drive from New Delhi. This area is being specially developed for the hosiery industry keeping in view all their requirements.


Plant & Machinery:
At present in the knitting division ten high speed circular knitting machines have been installed from M/s. Terrot Strickmaschinen Gmbh, Germany, flat collar knitting machine from Matsuya, Japan & Flying Tiger, Taiwan. In the dye house four high temperature dyeing machines from Brazzoli, Italy, mercerising, squeezing, relax drying and tube compacting from S.K.Global, Korea have been installed. All garment manufacturing is from Juki & Pegasus, Japan, transfer printing from Hix, USA, Perc Drycleaning from Realstar, Italy and computerized embroidery from Tajima.

All other ancillary equipment has been bought from reputed indigenous sources. This includes four D.G. Sets to ensure uninterrupted captive power supply, three air-compressor units with air dryers, humidification plant, reverse osmosis plant, steam boiler, thermo pack and effluent treatment plant. A complete range of testing equipment has also been imported along with the machines - including yarn tension meter, yarn rate meter, GSM cutter and balance, dial indicators and complete laboratory for the dye house with Gretag Macbeth colour matching system.


Product Range:
At present the Knitting Unit manufactures basic fabrics of 20, 24 or 28 gauge and 26" or 30" diameter. The product range includes Single Jersey, Pique, Interlock, Rib, Rib Structures, Fleece, Single Jersey Jacquards, Feeder Stripes, etc. The installed capacity of the unit is 115 MT per month.

The Garment Unit produces knitted apparel viz. T-shirts - basic and polo, Tracksuits, Shorts, for men and women, Children and baby wear, etc. Close attention is given to service and product detailing throughout manufacturing to achieve desired parameters of customer satisfaction. The installed capacity of the unit is between 40,000 to 50,000 garments per month depending on the styling and product mix with in house computer embroidery and transfer printing facility.


The Dye House processes both cotton and blended fabrics in tube form with the added advantage of fabric mercerising. The variety of the dyeing machine capacity ensures flexibility in handling dye lots from 25 kg sample to 800 kg bulk production, ensuring minimum lot to lot variations. The mercerising machine ensures proper neutralising of the fabric along with the possibility of mercerising flat knits in the same machine. The installed capacity of the unit is 125 MT per month. Demand & Market Scope:

The world is fast moving towards natural products and as aresult of this trend, demand for cotton fabrics isincreasing. The cotton knitted fabric SEPL is producing is primarily used in the manufacture of knitted T-shirts. The demand for hosiery garments is increasing at a fast pace because of the comfort and soft feel of the product.


Customer Profile: The product has been well accepted and the plant set up has been appreciated by Courtaulds Jersey, Benetton, Pierre Cardin, Lacoste, Lee Cooper, Woodland, Raymonds, Reebok, Migros, Espirit, Kanematsu, May Departmental Stores, Greg Norman Collection, etc., and the company has regular supplies to some of these leading international brands.

Raw Material: Cotton Yarn the raw material for knitted fabrics, is easily available in abundance in India at prices competitive to international yarn prices. This greatly adds to the competitive cost advantage for the Indian knitting mills and ensures uninterrupted supply. The development of the most modern and advanced technology has ensured that the fabric is manufactured of the best quality and flexibility maintained in manufacturing the products.
